I'd be more concerned that Bezos is donating a million dollars toward Trump's inauguration. I'm currently planning how to get rid of Prime and replace the services I use from it (music, movies, etc). Fuck these trash billionaires.
Girl, agreed. I am currently entangled with Bezos to the tune of not being comfortable, because Audible and Amazon carry my material and my show. Other outlets, obviously, but it's a big market for me. And I literally detest Bezos. It's truly a case of becoming the capitalist Bitchface I despise. Still, this fucking shirt just got me in a sensitive spot I wasn't aware existed.
Lol, girl, I could very well have dusted off Baby Anne and taken us to 1997, but I was listening to this in the car tonight and it's living rent free in my brain right now. However, what about the 80's is happening over there D? Because I can't learn anything new, literally, or something from fucking Hall and Oates has to move out.
Lmao, you're absolutely correct. It was 1985ish out of Europe, but we didn't get a solid scene in the states until mid 90's that was real techno, break beats and shit. Prior to that it was just the club kid shit and people stealing all the good beats from Detroit. When ecstasy hit the clubs, we got the music to go with it, and thank Christ for that. I was the bitch dancing on the speaker boxes with the glow sticks, of course.
Every time I hear that song, I think of that movie with Shelly Long, The Beverly Hills Troop or whatever, where she's drinking Evian by the case lamenting about her divorce. Oh, that just took me back.

Shit, when you said old school techno I was expecting something from the 80s or 90s. I can't believe 2003 is old school..fml 😭
This song is 🔥 though

Eh, I just said 80s. My brain auto defaults to everything old school being 80s and 90s.
Did techno even really exist in the 80s as we think of it? I tend to think of a lot of the stuff labeled as techno as being more "proto-techno"
I think around '89 is when things started to shift from synthpop and krautrock to House and techno and all that jazz.
All this to say that I don't really know any techno from the 80s lol

Fuck yeah, those were good times.
Memories
Like the corners of my mind
Misty watercolor memories
Of the way we were....
Lol
