Hello, to those with a uterus, and those without. I’m here to tell you a little story. You see, I never really had too much to say on the abortion topic, because I didn’t have to worry about it.
As a teen and young woman, abortion was pretty much etched in stone. We thought it would never come to the back-alley coat hanger scenario again, because they would never be able to walk our rights back, right? Wrong. Wrong with a capital wrong.
In Louisiana, today, as in literally not 50 years ago, but tofuckingday, women are receiving unnecessary C-sections, and here is why:
“Doctors described cases of women who experienced preterm premature rupture of membranes (when the “water breaks” early in pregnancy, before the fetus is viable). Some of these women were forced to undergo Cesarean section surgeries to empty their uterus and avoid infection, instead of receiving an abortion procedure or medication.”
Literally, the most dangerous and disruptive surgery for a woman, and they’re being done not out of necessity, but to absolve physicians of any chance of being labeled an “abortioner”. Bear in mind, the patients were not given a choice. It was C section or die.
So, this is what happens when an abortion ban gives doctors a 15 year stretch and 200k in fines. Unnecessary, life-threatening surgeries to avoid the appearance of regular, necessary health care.
Unfuckingbelievable.
If you’ll again glance at the quoted material above, it states prior to a viable fetus. This means, either way, this isn’t a pregnancy that’s going to term. No chance. The only thing that is happening by not allowing for a D&C or abortion medication is now the life of the formerly expectant mother is in danger.
Ladies, if you are living in Louisiana, I urge you to get a copper IUD. Not tomorrow, today. You have to understand that your life literally depends on not getting pregnant until you move out of the bayou, or the fucking GOP does.
Let’s not overlook this part of the Physicians for Human Rights study, because it’s a real goddam doozy. It was also found that Louisiana OBGYN offices won’t see you until after the 12th week of pregnancy. Trimester dos, sis, you ain’t getting prenatal love prior, so sit your glucose intolerant ass down and heed this bullshit.
Of course, if you have an ectopic pregnancy, you may not be able to sit down, what for that ruptured ovary causing you to bleed out, but I’m sure that can be patched right up.
Oh, what was that? It can’t? Well, fuck me running backward. No, not literally, I don’t want to have a fucking C-section, asshole. This shit is for the aviary group, not me.
Where are the Feds in this fuckery? Has anyone ever heard of EMTALA in Louisiana? Apparently not, because a woman with an ectopic pregnancy nearly died when her physician was informed by hospital brass not to perform a D&C. Not only will they not perform the lifesaving surgery, but they also won’t even refer the women to a center or hospital that will.
Un. Fucking. Believable.
It seems millions more for prisons, millions less for educators and the school system, and women dying in emergency rooms waiting for routine medical procedures is what Louisiana is about. Not Texas bad, but goddam near it.
I could almost give a nod to DeSantis right now. At least we aren’t getting sliced open unnecessarily. Yet.
What the fuck.

Again, the cruelty is the point.
This is what happens when you let the p***y grabber stack the Supreme Court with the likes of Gorsuch, Barrett, and Kavenaugh. Of course they overturned 50 years of jurisprudence with a wink and a nod. Two of these flat out lied when questioned about it during their confirmation hearings.
I rarely get political here, but how can anyone vote for a Republican today? Unfuckingbelievable isn't strong enough a word for these barbaric sons of bitches.
