I talk here about Andrew nearly every day now. He’s attractive, with a great beard, and he believes I am without any doubt whatsoever the sexiest woman alive.
Often times I think I am the funniest woman in the room, and that’s because usually I am. Today, though, he really cracked me up and I thought I would share a little slice of the idiocy that I think makes him so lovable to me.
We were talking about my past, some of the mix I used to find myself in...just random stories. I said “I told you, baby, I was heavy in these streets”, and he said, “oh yeah? Well, I’m heavy in these sheets”, and I swear I peed a little laughing at him.
For a comedy writer, I can tell you that the ability to laugh with someone at all the right times, that’s priceless. I have had relationships where my jokes were met with silence, or were misinterpreted. It was miserable.
He and I, though, we laugh. We laugh so much together, every single day.
For all of the attractive guy with naturally perfect skin and teeth that he may be, he is still funny, kind, and not a bit of pretentious. Which I’m still surprised by, because he could be, and it would almost be understandable.
He said to me a week or so back, “this is the most I’ve ever laughed while naked with someone”. That, to me, is certainly a W, and I chalked it up to exactly that.
YES! You landed a keeper!
If he knows the ‘goat joke’ he’s a keeper! I’ll fill you in on that one later...
